Warranty & Support Services
Every product purchased from ECOLIGHT comes with a warranty which could be 1-year or 2-years depending on the product type or brand. All led bulbs and tube lights, led downlights, spot lights comes with 2-years warranty where as decorative light like indoor and outdoor wall lights, pendant lights, garden lights etc are covered for 1-year. Some of the outdoor lights like led floodlights and streetlights come with 2-years warranty. Please check with us if you are not sure or want to know more in detail.
Your purchase bill/invoice itself is the warranty card…hence keep it in your safe custody.
Warranty Status
Is your product covered under warranty? Take your purchase invoice and check the purchase date to find out and if you are not sure, you may contact us with invoice no/purchase date/customer name.
In case your product warranty is over, you may still bring it back to us for a repair or replacement.
Retail Registration
All products are automatically registered for warranty at the time of purchase and the purchase bill itself is the warranty document for the customer. You will have to bring the purchase bill as the warranty document. Usually the warranty period is indicated in the invoice itself, and in case it is not there, you may confirm with us.
Clearance products do not qualify for this guarantee.
However this warranty not apply if a fault arises due to:
Abnormal use or working conditions, failure to follow instructions, misuse, alteration or unauthorised repair, wilful damage, improper maintenance or negligence on the part of the Buyer or a third party; or
Any subsequent mechanical, chemical, electrolytic or other damage after risk has passed to the Buyer, which is not due to a defect in the Goods.
Where Goods are faulty the Buyer must contact us within 7 days of the discovery of the fault or within 7 days of the collection of the Goods where the Goods were faulty on collection.
The Buyer must supply the requested information and images in order for the Supplier to be able to deal with the Buyer’s complaint. The Buyer will obtain full instructions upon notifying the Supplier of a fault.
A claim will be compensated for at the Supplier’s discretion. We reserve the right to offer a compensation. Compensation is normally paid within 28 days of the date of the Supplier’s confirmation.
